Side Tracked in Daphne

It turns out all of that Congestion was because of the tunnel in Mobile that runs right downtown. As a Virginia Beach native, tunnels are no biggie for me, but boy some folks don't like them at all. This photo is just for you Dr. McCary!

Just when things cleared up on the other side of Mobile Bay, we decided it was time for lunch. Burger King sounded good, and we got off on an exit in Daphne....by the way, anyone know how to say "Daphne"? While waiting for Keith to run in and get lunch, the Mustang started to overheat. The a/c compressor, specifically, and then it started to smoke. Yikes!

After calling Elizabeth to Google an auto repair place, we found a Goodyear Auto Service Center just on the other side of the highway - hooray!! Not knowing what exactly was wrong with the car, Keith decided to drive to the Goodyear while I followed with Barney roaming around the front seat of the truck while I pulled the trailer, gulp. Never driven anything with a trailer before.

Not only did I drive the trailer, I had to do a u-turn in traffic and managed not to curb it once. Needed a pill after that, whew!
